Briarwood Animal Hospital is required to follow federal and state regulations for prescribing and dispensing of prescription drugs on this website. These regulations require a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship, which necessitates a patient record and a recent physical examination. A doctor must approve all prescription requests.

Please note that prescriptions are filled at 10am (to be ready by noon), and 2pm (to be ready by 4pm). Requests sent after 2pm will be filled the following business day. If you miss the 2pm deadline and need a prescription filled today, please call us at 227-7900. If your request cannot be filled, we will attempt to contact you.

Refills, other than controlled substances, can be mailed to you. Please provide your current mailing address for this service. Prescriptions delivered by mail require payment prior to shipping. We will call you for credit card payment by phone.

Please Note: Medication can not be prescribed for a patient who has not been seen by a doctor within the last 12 months.
